The Saint-Simon Production Plant Continues to Invest

Saint-Simon, France, February 11, 2026 — We had the pleasure of welcoming to our Saint-Simon site (Aurillac, France) Mr. Fabrice Pannekoucke, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, as well as several political representatives for a visit dedicated to the evolution of our industrial site.

This event follows the granting of €1.5 million in financial support from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, in collaboration with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises Agency.

This official visit provided an opportunity to present the ambitious expansion project led by Stephan Griffoulière, Vice President of Operations, and Éric Médal, Plant Director. The project includes the creation of a new formulation and blending area, the development of a new encapsulation line, as well as major structural investments to support the growth of our probiotic activity.

Stephan Griffoulière explains: “We have launched an ambitious investment project, supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, aimed at establishing the Saint-Simon site as a leading center of expertise for the production of micro-organisms for pharmaceutical use. The objective is to position this site as a long-term key player in the pharmaceutical sector, complementing our current activities in dietary supplements and the food industry. This initiative addresses the increasing demands of the industry and the health challenges of tomorrow, particularly in the development of next-generation live biotherapeutic products.”

To preserve its status as a global leader, Lallemand Health Solutions continues to make strategic investments in its production facilities, thereby strengthening its position in the probiotic market.
