The Rosell® Institute for Microbiome and Probiotics by Lallemand: Platinum sponsor of Having IMPACTT: Advancing Microbiome Research Symposium
As a platinum sponsor, The Rosell® Institute for Microbiome and Probiotics by Lallemand will join forces with the organizers to promote “Having IMPACTT: Advancing Microbiome Research Symposium” a virtual event that will take place from June 14 to 16, 2021. The organizers, the Integrated Microbiome Platforms for Advancing Causation Testing and Translation (IMPACTT), the International Microbiome Centre (IMC), the Snyder Institute and the University of Calgary, have built a program that will be of interest to researchers, clinicians, and trainees from across Canada and Internationally.
Reuniting over 15 renown speakers, the themes that will be covered in this symposium include microbiome impacts throughout life in both health and chronic diseases, such as cancer, inflammation, and autoimmunity.
“The importance of human microbiome research is rapidly gaining momentum for understanding its role in human health and disease. Our goal for this symposium is to bring together the leading minds in microbiome research and highlight the emerging microbiome teams from across Canada.” Explains Kathy McCoy, PhD., IMPACTT Director, Chair, Professor, Dept. Of Physiology and Pharmacology, Scientific Director International Microbiome Centre (IMC) at the University of Calgary.
